Program Description

The MSc program equips graduates with advanced knowledge and skills in selected areas of information technology. It focuses on the understanding needed to communicate between senior management, technical experts and users, thus assisting organizations to use information technology more effectively. The programs will enable students to understand what opportunities are offered by information technology, as well as its limitations, and therefore make effective management decisions in applying IT. Moreover, it aims to provide graduates with the intellectual tools and practical experience to enable them to act as bridges between management and technical computer.

Admission Requirement

The main admission requirements for this MSc program are:

holding a Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or other related fields,

having a minimum of 1 year experience in IT,

and passing the program entrance exam.

Graduate Requirement

The student must fulfill the following requirements to graduate from this program:

Option 1

having successfully completed a minimum of 45 credits = 15 required coursework excluding any credit transfers,

having successfully completed the senior project report,

and passing the MSc comprehensive exit exam.

Option 2

having successfully completed a minimum of 33 credits = 11 required coursework excluding any credit transfers,

and having successfully completed the MSc thesis writing = 12 credits.
